My husband's cousin used to make models for the National Trust and I'm pretty sure he didn't work like this. He made his models at home, with glue and modelling bits and pieces like model railways. I suspect there are parts of the industry that have more creative flair, but you weren't in that part of it.

BTW, the work with the kids sounds much more fulfilling. I wanted to work with teenagers in children’s homes or schools after getting my psychology degree, but couldn’t get a break, so I retrained in marketing.
