My guess is I read them all and my reads are worth 23 cents. Can you tell from the stats page and my comment whether there's a correlation? The other one probably had more readers, one of whom might have been first time reader, who doesn't read much at all, so might have come as a big read value, in addition to my 23 cents! You can work some of this out if you look at the dates of the comments and compare it to the stats.

Also, the value of my reads tails off the more I read you, so sadly, it's probably quite low by now.

Or, if this was before I found your latest batch of stories, it might have been another reader registering at 23 cents per read. It's easier to analyse these things when you don't have a lot of readers. That's probably the only upside. :)
