My 99 year old mother in law likes to get them. We still send them to her occasionally, but not so much recently because we've been avoiding shops since the start of the pandemic. To her, they are as relevant as ever. But I know what you mean, it feels like a waste of time and money. At least in her case though, we know it's appreciated.
