Mine are adorable, but they're not so good for kids, in my opinion. Because they're scared, skittish, and need gentle handling. Saying that, we've always had rescues, so they might not be like that if they get used to handling from a very early age.

We handle ours on *their* terms, which generally means we can stroke with their permission, but no picking up unless it's really necessary. My elderly little Pumpkin also has an impacted rectum, so the daily bottom emptying routine requires someone with real dedication. It's common on old boys. They also poo like crazy!
