LOL. I suspect he actually writes like a grammar checker. I think he relies on them heavily for his English because it's not his first language.

It's obvious when we've had brief exchanges that he doesn't always understand things. For example, in his substack post, he is clearly confused between impressions, views, and reads. I think it's the language barrier because he's been around a long time, is not stupid, and should know this stuff, as it's absolutely basic.
