I've taken them for magazine articles occasionally. If I've ben writing about certain ingredients for a recipe or a nutritional piece, sometimes I've needed pictures. I took eggs on display for a chicken magazine to show how they're kept in UK supermarkets. I did get asked why I was taking pics once, but they didn't stop me or object.
