I've just dropped Ariel a message to try and find out if pets and animals is covered by a boosting publication because if not, I'm tempted to re-brand mine in that direction and try again. It's a topic I've written about extensively and professionally, and a different focus might make my publication more attractive to the boost program. But not being able to reach outside of it for boostable material almost put me off applying again. If I can reach outside, that changes everything, because most of what's in there isn't boostable at the moment.

On the upside the stuff in there is short, punchy, not anything I have to worry might be written by AI, or plagiarised. That's great from an editor's perspective. But not booostworthy. Which might need to change before I reapply.
