I've heard that poetry doesn't do well on here. If it's getting views not reads, that won't be Medium suppressing it. If Medium was suppressing it, there wouldn't be views. I know because this is my experience on Newsbreak. :) And on Newsbreak you can literally see when there are zero impressions (meaning they haven't shown it to anyone), which obviously leads to zero views, unless people find it by themselves.
