I've heard mixed reviews of upwork, but one thing's always been consistent. It seems to be mostly a race to the bottom on price. I've never wanted to go there for that reason, but I've sometimes wondered if I'm missing out. Saying that, the fact that if their client doesn't pay, they expect you to shell out the cash is terrible! I think I'll continue to steer clear.
