I've been thinking about doing this since mine became problematic. But the latest slowdown seems to be related to MS Word, which I think is either XP or 2000, and either way is unsupported. Things work fine if I don't open Word.

So as my writing career is dying a death anyway, maybe I'll just use Open Office for a bit. I do not like subscriptions!
