It's so great that you've stuck up for people. I try to do the same when I feel it's necessary. Just last week, I saw dogs locked in a car in direct sunlight and in distress. I went in and found the owner - who was really pissed off with me for making a fuss, but dogs can die in minutes in sun baked cars. I felt it was necessary, and I'd do the same to help a person, even if it makes me unpopular.
