It's sad that people won't respond like this and we're expected to 'take a hint'. I am terrible at taking hints. I think it might be my autistic traits, where I want someone to tell me straight where I stand, because otherwise I'm left wondering and may have theories, but no idea if they're right, wrong, or I'm paranoid. At least your theory makes good sense and it's not personal.
