It's mostly a threat to people who are immunocompromised, so most people don't need to worry, but it's something to aware of, in the future, as the climate warms and these things become more adaptable and more pathogenic (harmful to health).

I know first hand that they are absolutely not on top of the fungal threat, because I've had an infection for years that is drug resistant and I cannot shift. It won't kill me, but nonetheless, it's not nice.
