It's lovely that you turn yours into a reusable decoration. I imagine you might end up with more garlands than you know what do to with eventually!

We have the same problem with the neighbours. They give us cards, so we feel we must reciprocate or they'll be offended, and so it drags on. And then the next year, you feel you have to do it because they do. And it's all such a lot of nonsense. Because we wish them happy Christmas when we see them!

We stopped doing that too. The cards keep coming.
