It was one of the big ones that bought out the little guy who sold up. He was responsible for letting it get into that state, but they were absolutely awful in their own way and did virtually nothing to resolve the problems. They even contracted out inspections, which meant you couldn't speak to anyone about what they'd seen.

The management company might as well have been based in China. There was no real benefit in having a local agent because they weren't behaving in a local way.

We did wonder if they had kids with ADHD or something. There was food everywhere. It was just disgusting. We still have a lot of work to do, but have broken the back of it.
