It is subjective, but it's easy to spot a lot of low quality writing on here - in my subjective opinion. You can tell when someone's taken time to do something really well thought through that is really good. Sometimes quality involves research. Sometimes, just attention to detail and thought. And as you say, quality writing is probably more likely to resonate with a comment about how it made people feel. But then again, I’ve had some things that I wrote during a moment of inspiration do better than stuff I would deem higher quality.
