It is ridiculous that cars are getting heavier. We upgraded from a Peugeot 206 to a 207 when the other one got too old and rusty and needed a lot of work. The 207 is much bigger than the 206. It's more fuel efficient, but it would be more efficient still if it carried less weight. There seems to be a fashion for big cars, getting bigger with every new model. Even when you're trying to buy a small run around.
