It does seem like it's getting harder. I miss some people who've left - people I used to enjoy engaging with, often having prolonged conversations about stuff. One in particular, actually. He's freelancing on Upwork instead now.

I thought the autumn would bring a new wave of readers. I'm still getting good engagement, but I'm not really growing. I decided to be bold this month - publish twice as much content. But while I didn't expect twice the earnings, I hoped it might send my monthly totals in an upward direction. It might - but only just. Saying that, magazine editors aren't kicking down my door either. I want to try Newsbreak, but need to get over the US phone number problem. I'm not sure what to do, but I like it here, so I'll keep going. I still believe it has potential.
