Interesting that you say less contrast makes reading easier. I've heard from other people that black on white isn't good, but I thought contrast was generally good. I'd worried occasionally that the lack of contrast from the highlight tool makes it harder to read stories. Do you have a view on readability of highlighted text, say when the red is used? I sometimes publish in Age of Awareness, which has a black background and despite the publication having 44k followers, my stories on there have never done well. I wonder if this is part of the problem.
