Interesting perspective. I always liked to leave on time, but I'd stay if a job required it. Occasionally. Not routinely. I never got on especially well at work, but I think that's because I rub people up the wrong way - nothing to do with me going home on time. When working for myself, it's blindingly obvious that I get out what I put in. If I choose to go for walks every afternoon, I'll earn less than if I spend that time working. But it's worth it for me. And for the most part, I've still earned more doing that than I did in employment. Although getting started took a heck of a lot of dedication, 7 days a week, for little income.

My first paper round was 12. ☺
