I'm one of those people. Here's our position and it's not even on your list - we don't want covid. It's that simple.
While most of the world doesn't give a crap whether they get a disease that can cause permanent damage to your lungs, heart, and cognitive abilities, we don't want it. Not forgetting long covid too.
A lot of churchgoers are older people and I think a significant proportion still feel vulnerable and don't want covid. So, while most people have gone back to normal and will take whatever happens when they get it, there's a silent minority who will continue to avoid people until things look safer - either the virus mutates into a harmless cold. Or maybe they'll just live a low profile life forever.
My husband has lung damage. We simply don't want it.
Perhaps I should put this in a story and send it to your publication!
