I'm not sure where you're located but would you consider a rescue centre for a pet bird. Here in the UK, there are places that rehome them. It's nice to give a captive bird a home, rather than encourage the trade where sometimes birds are still taken from the wild. Big aviary is a must. Hope you have lots of room. :)

I don't think planning for 2024 is too soon. I just can't think beyond next week.
