I'm not quite clear on what the problem is either. I was once told to go and fix my story, when grammar software said it should all be turned from passive voice into active voice. The software doesn't work properly on my computer, so I couldn't just click a button to 'accept' the suggestions - besides which, many made no sense.

I had to basically rewrite it. I guess if you have dyslexia, arthritis in your hands, or some disability that means your hand movement isn't so good, that kind of feedback could be a problem?

I just spotted he's actually added a lot more detail to his original article (at the foot of my story), which might explain some issues, and he also posted this - https://medium.com/the-shortform/meta-is-ableist-af-2b63b82ee84c

Also, he wears an eye patch, so I wonder if it's a visual issue, making it hard to edit, perhaps?
