I'm not denying that companies burn more fuel than individuals. I'm saying it's the people who burn the fuels - in their company or otherwise - that cause the emissions, not the suppliers. People argue that the top polluters are the fossil fuel companies. I'm just arguing that the top polluters are the people and companies that burn it, not the companies that supply it.
But if individuals want to have more of an impact on those companies, they should stop buying the stuff that's manufactured by them. Only in the modern world does everyone think they need so much stuff, and it all has to be new and the 'latest model'. That's what keeps the companies you're talking about in business.
