I'm not blaming readers. I was pleased to receive feedback from the lady about the Nissen huts. I won't make that mistake again.
The fact that the book is not available however, is simply not true. When I did check my facts, she was wrong, not me. So I didn't need to change my article.
It's good to check, but when something's been around for 100+ years, it's not unreasonable to make a few assumptions and not think you have to check absolutely every tiny thing. It is still available, so my article was correct.
I guess my point is, complainers should check their own facts first!
