I'm glad you've got solar panels sorted. We looked into it, and while I'm keen in principle, husband reckon's our roof isn't very solid and the roof couldn't take the weight. Admittedly, we've had to have a fair bit of work done on it. Combine that with the return on investment being a bit ropey, and we decided to buy green energy instead... then our energy supplier went bust. But you know, we're trying. :-) Good story.
