I'm glad this year looks better. It sounds like the festival is fabulous over there! Maybe a bit like our Christmas in the UK. The only time we've been alone during a celebration of that ilk, was when we were in lockdown over Christmas of 2020. Although we have had quiet Christmases since then, but not as quiet as when it was imposed by government. :)

My mother in law was a nurse during the second world war and Christmas was a bit like that on the wards.
