I'm confused about subscribers and have just asked my husband to subscribe to me, to see what happens. My feeling is that people don't want to be bombarded by emails, so I don't send all my posts to subscribers. But I have recently started sending my regular update to subscribers, along with the question: Do you prefer this, or would you prefer up to 3 emails every day? Not one subscriber has answered this question... which can only lead me to the conclusion that subscribers are not reading my subscriber posts. So are they a waste of time? Should I be sending all posts to subscribers on the day they are published? I get one sent to me, even when I turn that option off, so perhaps they're getting them too! I don't know. My instinct is they don't want to be bombarded, but then it seems they're not reading the updates, so what's the point in me doing them? And if I don't do them, I should presumably send them all the posts individually. Any thoughts?
