I'm a freelance writer so I started repurposing my old articles. Only when I realised that different kind of stuff does well did I write specifically for Medium. The point being, some of it was written already, but I am still quite prolific. It can take ages to get going on Medium, but if you persevere it becomes more rewarding eventually.
