On Medium algorithms, I do wonder if you’re spot on — designed to give everyone a viral story once in a while, to keep us hooked. I honestly don’t know what to do personally. I’m loathed to start applying for $20 jobs on Upwork, from which I have to pay Upwork fees, and I wonder if I’d be able to knock them out as quickly as you do. So I’m probably inclined to stick with magazines and try to grow Medium some more, but as you say, it does feel like a gamble. Fortunately, we own the house.
