I'd hope the longer ones would do better! I'll consider it. :-) I'm definitely leaning towards writing longer pieces now, but my longest stories never do well. I'd like to change that. Remember the bunker? I did a similar thing with that - to try and promote it. Neither long or shortform earned much.
