I'd be more worried about the dodgy clients than 14 days payment. Some of my clients take years to pay (payment on publication), and no-one pays in less than a month. But the dodgy clients sounds bad. I had a client through Content Cloud who wanted to take the conversation off line because they didn't want to pay Content Cloud's fees. Then they gradually dropped their rates from £350 to £50.
