I wrote to Medium about this too. They can do something if they wanted to... they can put all stories behind a screen that cannot be copied. This would muck up the highlighting, but what the hell, it makes text harder to read anyway. Some websites, when you try to copy text, you can't. It's like trying to copy text from a jpeg. It doesn't work. Medium could do that. I suspect that would eliminate 99.99% of the problem. I wait to hear what they think of my suggestion. They probably hate it.

I emailed both sites telling them the work was plagiarised (including my copyright symbol, so hard for them to deny) and to take it down. It may not have been the correct DMCA wording, but the request was clear. Neither of them replied.
