I wrote about the STAR method on Medium a year ago. Hardly anyone read it. I only learnt about it from a specialist organisation who I was referred to after redundancy, to help me find new work. It improved my success at interviews no end, but it certainly wasn't taught in colleges/university when I went there. I do have another version in my drafts, which was rejected from a big publication. I'll place it somewhere eventually, and it can flop again. :-)
