I was thinking this morning about the asylum system, where we spend £3 billion keeping asylum seekers in hotels, while our homeless live on the streets. It's really screwed up. I know a lot of them do have problems that are of their own making, but so do people who 'flee' perfectly safe countries 'for a better life' in the UK. Yet one group gets housed. The other group is left to rot.
