I value the extra visibility of publications, as I don't have many followers, but this one now has a big red cross against it in my mind.

My primary motivation for joining medium three months ago was to monetise some articles that I've already written and had published. Some of which I've been paid well for, but still own the copyright.

But if Medium editors start throwing around plagiarism accusations for anything that's been published under my own name elsewhere, I could go off the whole idea quite quickly.

If they wanted to raise a query where something's been published under a pseudonym, that's more understandable. There are a few of those.

I am getting quite into it now, and writing more from scratch too.
