I totally get it, and agree that in many cases the diet and exercise approach may be better, but we'll probably never know because there's not a lot of research. But there are also huge numbers of people in society who would rather die than eat a healthy diet and get off their arses. For those people, the pharmaceutical company's goals are perfect. But the trouble is, we are rarely given the option of comparative lifestyle changes by a doctor. They only know about medicine - not health.
