I totally agree. I've been thinking about whether to sue, but the whole thing about whatever is reasonable wear and tear over 13 years, combined with the fact that not a single agent told them to stop trashing our house, pretty much means they've been allowed to get away with it for so long, we can't really come in and say they should have known better at the end. The agents near the end just said, "you can't tell people how to live". I assume they all thought that. But you know, when it's going to cost us thousands in repairs, we *should* be telling them how to live. We've got their deposit, which gives us £384 towards our redecorating costs. 🙄 We trusted the wrong people and should have been more forceful when we believed the rent was too low.
