I think you're a very good writer. You have a great way of storytelling, that draws readers in, paces things well, keeps things interesting. Lots of people lose me on longer articles, but you tend to hold my attention.

I love that you have 400 drafts. The trouble with my drafts is that some are tricky or controversial and take ages to sort out into something decent - especially if there's a risk of saying the wrong thing.

So it's often easier to knock out an opinion about Medium, which is also more likely to be read.

As I am motivated by trying to generate an income as well, I will be focusing on other topics once meta gets banned from the paywall.

I wish I'd taken up writing sooner than I did. I think it might have been therapeutic in my youth. I was writing newsletters and PR in my marketing roles, but didn't write much just for me.

I wanted to be a journalist or novelist, or both... but wasn't allowed. I'm glad I got there eventually. :) Even if it was 20 years late.
