I think this is the key. It's that people recognise the traits in themselves but are undiagnosed. Even after an assessment sometimes. It's not about what sounds good or doesn't. It's about being honest about whether the traits are sufficiently extreme to get that diagnosis. In my case not. I don't call myself HSP or autistic. But I recognise that I have traits and you can call it what you like. The assessor called it high scoring, but probably not autistic.
