I think the more we write and the more we grow our following an engagement the more we're likely to get trolls just because the probability when you have more engagement is that you'll get a proportion of the trolls. Some are bots. I'm like you... if it looks weird I'll give someone the benefit of the doubt and assume their English isn't very good or something. If it's clearly an insult, I question whether the comments have any merit. Sometimes they might be passionately disagreeing with something, and perhaps I do need to tone down my opinion. But if not, I'll shrug, assume it's a bot and move on. Or at least that's ideal. Occasionally, I may cry. 😁
