I think she was wrong. I think if she'd seen me as a young person who wasn't coping at all, it would have been a different story. I think the decision was on the basis that I didn't stand to gain from a diagnosis - there's no support in place, and my life's good now anyway. I'm happy to accept that I'm on the fence, but yes, I would have liked firm answers and explanations that helped my life make sense. I haven't even read the full report yet, because suddenly we have a cancer diagnosis and more pressing reading! But she did say I had a lot of autistic traits.
