I think readers who are reading in specific niches will continue to be fed stories within their areas of interest and it hopefully won't affect their reading experience.

Writers who have historically been interested in stories about Medium will continue to be fed stories about Medium and will probably have their own stories to share on the current debacle. I think there are plenty of stories on the platform covering all topics for us not to have to worry too much about people who come here to read about, say, tech, not being able to find what they want.

But then again, I'm not seeing what the algorithm is offering them, and I might be wrong!
