I think it was just the early days of Amazon Kindle and there wasn't much competition, so he got in at the right time, and found an audience on Amazon. He also tapped into everyone's desire to be happy, but I think there was a huge stroke of luck - right time, right place. I wish I'd got in earlier, but I believe you needed to know how to code in the early days of Kindle!
