I sometimes wonder if I should try to negotiate freelance fees, but I have literally lost work doing that. But I do recall one occasion when someone asked me my fee. I went in mid-range, but did feel I should have asked for £50 more when they immediately agreed. LOL. Very hard to judge. Others have withdrawn their offer of work for a fee lower than that.
