I saw what had happened in Russia and am appalled. I have no issue with how people live their lives. It's their business. There's a person who works in our local Oxfam shop who I assume is transitioning. She's a lovely person.

I do understand why the woman who withdrew from the boxing match felt she didn't want to fight someone who might have the strength of a man though. She only had one hour notice - no time to find out how long since they'd transitioned or what the consequences might be for her.

Anyway, your points are noted. Yes, Russia is awful on so many levels.

I think you should connect with MaryClare StFrancis, M.A. on Medium. She has a trans daughter, and writes wonderful articles. Not about trans issues, but she will share your perspective on many things, I think. She is one of my favourite writers.
