I really wish we'd had an older couple who wanted the house but didn't ask the agent because they knew their credit check would come back with a CCJ. They wrote to us, but by the time we got the letter the agent was going through checks with these people, so it felt too late to switch. I'd have much rather had the older couple with an apologetic approach to their credit history.
