I really enjoyed the only team building trip I've ever been on with work. It was to an outdoor activity centre, where we did archery, go carting, Go Ape in the trees, and other stuff. I remember it fondly. Never been invited to a city break, but I did have some training in a city once and went on a ghost tour afterwards. I don't recall any of it being a painful experience.
