I love this response and your reminder of the biblical story. That's so spot on and so relevant. I'm a doubting Christian - so make of that what you will. I also love to learn new things and continued doing courses and studying well into adulthood. I'm still learning.

Those people pushing food under your furniture sound awful! I'd rather have no one turn up! It reminds me of the time when we had my sister and family round to Christmas. I'd deliberately avoided chocolate because I didn't want everything plastered with it. My sister bought chocolate for her daughter who went on to plaster our carpet, furniture and curtains with it. We spent that new year with a carpet cleaner, shampooing the carpet, furniture, and curtains. We haven't had people around since. :) I prefer guinea pigs.
