I know what you mean, but you just reminded me of a couple of people I've come across who've commented on my articles, linking their high-brow philosophical solutions to capitalism, that honestly, I tried to read and I haven't got the foggiest what they're on about!

They literally don't speak the same English as me. It's like they're in a different universe where concepts are not shared. And I'm all for consuming less and practical realities, but I've felt like one of those thickos occasionally.
